Barbara, whose retirement came earlier than planned, says the support of her local Oddfellows group makes every day feel like a holiday.

Each year, three Oddfellows members are selected to receive a coveted Educational Award, each of which is open to applications from members of all ages, as long as they’ve been a member for five years, and are undertaking a degree for the very first time.

Bright spark James, from Newport Pagnell, has been awarded the Oddfellows Apprenticeship Award for 2019.

A widow from Wilton who all but died of a broken heart following the death of her husband has spoken of the joy she has finally found through Oddfellows friendship.

We visited the Lupus Trust research team, based at London’s Guy’s Hospital on Monday 28 Oct to present our first donation of £28,000.

Our Branches across the UK are hosting a series of special get-togethers throughout September to encourage people to make new friends, after our research revealed that almost half of adults with significant friends (48%) only get together with them less than once a month.

The Oddfellows’ Trafalgar Branch made a special visit to RNLI Happisburgh’s Lifeboat Day event on 4 August to present the life-saving coastal charity with a £500 fundraising boost.
