We’re a mutual, which means we don’t have any shareholders. Without having to pay shareholder dividends it means all our profits are instead distributed back to you – our policyholders – through lower management charges and bonuses. So not only do you get potentially greater returns on savings and investments through us, but you also get a say in how we’re run too. And, of course, as with everything we do at the Oddfellows, we aim to provide you with professional, friendly and reliable customer service.

Our different approach is why our members currently choose us to manage over 253,000 savings and investment policies for them, with policyholder funds under management totalling over £230m.*

Our transferred products

Historically, the Oddfellows has acquired insurance and investment business from other friendly societies, which we now look after the management and administration of. This includes the Ideal Benefit Society, Nottingham Friendly Society, Schoolteachers Friendly Society and Druids Sheffield Friendly Society.
