Join anthropologist, author and relationship expert Dr Anna Machin for this hugely explorative session on the science of friendship and health, and why it matters to your own wellbeing.

Drawing on neuroscience and evolution, you'll leave with practical insight into how relationships can help you feel healthier, more resilient, and more at home in your life.

Days full of friendship

Louisa describes herself as a “social animal”, using words like “chatty”, and in fact reckons she could “talk for England”, if such an opportunity ever arose. 

But all joking aside, she places a huge amount of importance on spending time with other people, and says the benefits companionship has on her wellbeing have been vast.

“If I sat in my house every day, you know for hours and hours and hours, I would go stir crazy.”
