If you’re going through a difficult time, a caring, friendly face and a non-judgemental, listening ear goes a long, long way.

It might be that you find it difficult to get out and about and would like us to pop by for a cup of tea and a chat. You may be recovering from an operation, coping with an on-going health condition, bereavement or have caring responsibilities. Or you may be feeling low or lonely. Being there for our members, to help where we can, is important to us.

Branch care and welfare support is delivered by member volunteer Branch Welfare Visitors, although some larger Branches employ Care Co-ordinators. All Branch Welfare Visitors are DBS checked and carry identity badges, so you can feel comfortable about any home visits.

Our Branch Care and Welfare Support teams will help where they can, or will call on the wider support of others in or outside of the Society to help you access the services or advice that you may need.

Whatever difficulty you're facing – no matter how small – please get in touch.

Accessing Branch Care and Welfare Support is a membership benefit from day one.
