An Ormskirk and Southport Branch member who has been an Oddfellow for more than 70 years has been installed as the Society’s new Grand Master (Chairman).

Each year, three Oddfellows members are selected to receive a coveted Educational Award. The awards are open to applications from members of all ages, as long as they’ve been a member for five years, and are undertaking a degree for the very first time.

Swadlincote resident, and member of Burton-on-Trent Oddfellows, Effie Bowman has been awarded the Making a Difference award for 'Giving Something Back' by the Fraternal Board of the Society, in recognition of her dedication to fundraising.

A group of Oddfellows members from Norfolk have found friendship and support in a sisterhood after losing their husbands.

Cleveland and Durham Oddfellows took a trip to Hartlepool RNLI’s lifeboat station in March and presented the charity with a £2,000 cheque in support.
