Why not join us on our trip to Chester or Chester Zoo this summer. At Chester Zoo you can explore over 10 indoor habitats including the UK's largest tropical biodome. Discover the wonders of the rainforest in Monsoon Forest and see over 30,000 animals from over 520 species across 130 acres. Get closer to the troop of lemurs in our walkthrough area. Try out the five thrill-seeking adventure playgrounds, take a trip around Islands on the Lazy River boat experience or explore the Award-winning gardens and thousands of plants.
If the zoo experience isn't up your street then we are doing a drop off at Chester beforehand where you can spend a few hours in this lovely Roman city. Founded as a Roman fortress in the 1st century A.D, it's known for its extensive Roman walls made of local red sandstone. In the old city, the Rows is a shopping district distinguished by 2-level covered arcades and Tudor-style half-timber buildings. A Roman amphitheatre, with ongoing excavations, lies just outside the old city's walls.
Setting off from Linthwaite Church at 9am. Pick up from Brighouse can be arranged if required.
