Bat Walk and Talk with Friends of Basingbourne Park

The Friends of Basingbourne Park have invited the Oddfellows to join them for an evening all about bats and conservation. Meeting in the pavilion, we will start with a hot drink. One of their volunteers will then give a short presentation about all things "bats" and then we will head out at sunset for a walk to find the bats. Booking essential so we can reserve a bat detector for you. The evening is free but as they are a community group, donations are welcome towards their conversation work. 

There are paths through the woods but please wear sturdy shoes and bring a torch. If you do have your own bat detector, please bring it along as they only have limited supplies. We look forward to exploring the night skies together. 

Parking available. Do get in touch if you would like a lift as there will not be public transport at that time in the evening.
