Wallington is a 13,500 acres estate in Northumberland which has been cared for by National Trust since 1941. One of the North East's most spectacular properties, a visit to the magnificent estate is a must. Wallington is home to a historic country house which sits amid rolling hills, swathes of woodland and has a beautiful, walled garden to explore. Once home to the unconventional and socialist Trevelyan family, Wallington Hall, displays thousands of beautiful items including dolls houses, treasured collections and quirky curiosities. We'll take time to explore and discover the variety of spaces, both indoors and keep our eyes peeled for the native wildlife. We can stop for a snack or hot meal in the cosy Clocktower Café. Meet at the Visitors Centre/Reception which is located next to the car parks.
