Leisurely Scenic Walk, River Calder at Whalley

This walk starts from Whalley bus station with walking on mostly good paths. Some walking on the riverside path next to the River Calder. Then a circular tour around and over the river near the railway arches and back pass the Abbey. Finally finishing at the Bus Station. About an hour.

The walking group meets on the first Monday of every month until October and walks are less than 4 miles.
Walkers with mobility difficulty or a specific health problem or is seriously unfit should contact the walk organisers. Comfortable shoes or trainers can be worn. Usually meet at Blackburn Bus Station. Times sent out nearer the time.
