Join us for an informative meeting as we are joined by Ipswich based Christian Charity Tools with A Mission (TWAM)

Tools With A Mission collect unwanted usable tools, refurbishes them, and sorts them into trade tool kits for livelihood creation. They have a mission to empower people and groups in need, offering them a way through tools to put poverty in the past for good and begin their own sustainable careers. In doing so, TWAM also enrich local UK communities through volunteering opportunities and waste reduction, contributing significantly to environmental sustainability.

Through their 'local to global' model, their prevent over 200 tonnes of tools from crowding UK landfills annually and engage local communities, offering volunteering opportunities that nurture skills and foster social connections. The impact of our work resonates globally, as TWAM supply refurbished tools to over 500 organisations in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa. These tools equip individuals with the skills needed to completely transform their lives and communities.

By refurbishing and recycling, they save over 1,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually, demonstrating a commitment to environmental sustainability. TWAM'S toolkits serve as catalysts for change, from supporting families and education to strengthening communities. TWAM'S local efforts have a global impact, helping to create a world where everyone has the chance to thrive.

TWAM send tools to both Africa and the UK.

An interesting morning awaits us. Refreshments will be served. Booking not essential but if you would like to book a place please call 01473 251867
