An afternoon at The Welby Arms pairs hearty, locally sourced food with a deep sense of village history. Tucked into the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside right next to the historic St. Andrew’s Church, this family-friendly pub offers a quintessential English country dining experience.

The Sunday Lunch Experience

Sunday lunch at the pub is a beautifully executed affair, highly praised by visitors for its generous portions, delicious rich gravy, and incredibly cozy atmosphere featuring log burners and comfortable Chesterfield seating.
• The Menu: Diners can choose from traditional, high-quality roasts like beef, pork, chicken breast, or lamb—all piled high with roasties, mashed potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, cauliflower cheese, honey-roasted root veg, and carrot puree. Vegetarian options, like their popular nut roast, are also widely available.
• The Cost: For an incredibly lovely meal that doesn't break the bank, their structured menu options offer great value, with a classic 2-course Sunday lunch set priced at £24.95 (with a full 3-course option available at £29.95). This is at time of print.

The Welby Arms is a Grade II listed country inn with historic roots stretching back to 1662.  It is close to Belvoir Castle, The Engine Yard and Denton Reservoir.
