Walk & Talk at Herrington Country Park

Please join us for a 3km - 5km walk around Herrington Country Park. This walk will be lead by member and branch Vice Grand Ken. Meet outside the café, Love Lily, which is located by the toilets and the main car park. Parking is free. 

The Park is one of the largest in Sunderland. It attracts a wide variety of birdlife which can often be found around the ponds. There are also a variety of sculptures that celebrate the heritage of the area. No one will be left on their own if they wish to do the shorter walk. After the walk we will stop for refreshments at the Penshaw Farm Shop and Tea Room.
