Sunday Special - Imperial War Museum

Meeting in the reception area we can walk through a timeline of history from the First World War to the present day with every object telling a human story, bringing history to life. It covers all aspects of conflict involving Britain, its former Empire and the Commonwealth with a range of media from art film and photographs to printed materials documents and sound.

Suitable for all the family with free entry and afterwards you can walk over the bridge where the Lowry Theatre, shops and numerous eateries are sited if you wish to have something to eat.
