A Wealden Womans War

Join the Earl of Cottenham Branch in welcoming Penelope Harris to the Ex-Services Club in East Grinstead. Based on a book called A Wealden Woman’s War, a true story, this talk is mostly nostalgic. It covers the war years, starting in 1940 with Edwina’s story of her life in the WAAF, meeting a one-legged Spitfire Pilot and their subsequent marriage and life together during and after the war. Refreshments will be provided.

Please note that booking is essential. Email Karen Rose to book your place Karen.Rose@oddfellows.co.uk or ring Andy on 01342 317970.
