Tai Chi has been described as ‘swimming on land’. Comparable to slow motion walking, the rounded movements are performed slowly and with precision. It is both beautiful and practical, based on universal principles and body understanding. With its origins rooted in ancient Chinese history and Oriental medicine. A taste of Tai Chi has much to offer us today as it embodies timeless universal truths within a system of health and self defence. Do join us and our teacher Shelagh Grandpierre for moving, standing, and sitting techniques, with relaxation meditation. So, when you next see a person keeping their head and their composure while others around them are losing theirs…you may well be looking at someone who has partaken of our Tai Chi sessions. All welcome!
