Out and About - Monsal Head

Monsal Head is a premier scenic viewpoint in the Peak District National Park, renowned for it breathtaking panoramic views of the River Wye meandering through a deep limestone gorge and the iconic Headstone Viaduct.

Meeting in the car park next to the Monsal Head Hotel we can take a walk down to the bottom of the gorge. When back at the top  we can have refreshments in the hotel, Hobbs cafe or just ice cream from the van located at the site. All day parking is £5.50 but cheaper for a shorter stay. We can decide more at the Social in August .
