Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park is a breathing space in the heart of East London. This 31-acre nature reserve is London’s most central urban woodland and one of its ‘Magnificent Seven’ cemeteries. It is a sanctuary for wildlife and a place for remembrance. Always changing with the seasons and rooted in the unique heritage of the East End, it’s a place full of history, discovery and possibilities for all.

Please wear weather appropriate clothes and closed shoes and carry water. This is an accessible, inclusive walk. We will cover a distance of 1km to 2km. The paths are approx. 1-2m wide. The surface is crushed concrete fines, a type of hard-packed fine gravel (which doesn't turn to mud in rain) or earth although we may wander in some areas off the paths where access is more limited.
