Join us for an explore around Fairburn Ings Nature Reserve to discover a landscape shaped by coal mining, now enjoying a second life as a haven for wildlife. We will follow the Roy Taylor trail covering 1.5 miles (2.4km) taking 45 minutes. For those wanting a shorter stroll you can enjoy the 0.3mile (500m) flat Discovery Trail accessible for wheelchairs, stopping off at the bird hide for spot of Twitching. Why not bring a packed lunch and we can eat together in the visitor centre.

Meet in the carpark. Free event but you will need to pay for parking.
