The Herveys of Ickworth

Allen Burbidge will present the story of the Hervey family, from the first Hervey who married local lass Jane Drury in 1253, to the 4th Marquess and his wife Theodora, from whom the house passed to the care of the National Trust.  The talk is illustrated using slides of the paintings and objects in the Ickworth collection.
