Pottery Workshop

Explore the medium of pottery in a 2.5 hour workshop, lead by Verran Townsend, who has many years of experience teaching ceramics.  Everyone will be able to have a go at both throwing a pot on the potter's wheel, and hand building (for example, creating a small cup or bowl, a tile, or a small sculpture).  At the end of the session, choose to take your items home straight away (the clay will still be soft), or the studio can finish your work off for you, (trimming the bases of thrown pieces, bisque firing the work, applying a glaze of your choice). You can then collect the fired work approximately 3 weeks later - there is a £5 additional charge for this service.
