Fort Borstal Tour and Lunch

Join us for a chance to explore one of the best preserved and least known of the Palmerston Forts, Fort Borstal.  Closed to the public for most of its history, the current owners have invited us for a special tour of some of the fort’s features with an explanation of how it has been used through the years including its most recent purpose as a vineyard and event space.

Tour time 10.30am to 12.30pm with a welcome warm drink and a light hot lunch following the tour with a chance to ask any questions.  If travelling by car, use postcode ME1 3QS.  This is via the prison car park just to be aware you aren’t going the wrong way.
