Party & picnic in the Park

Get ready for a fabulous event in Bents Park with pop legends ABC and high energy Chesney Hawkes. An afternoon not to be missed. This event is part of South Tyneside Council's This is South Tyneside Festival.

Meet at 12.30pm on the Sea Road entrance (Gate 1) near the toilets.  

Bring your own picnic or purchase food/drink from the serveries on site. Don’t forget a picnic rug or chair. 

Please be prepared for all weathers. Make sure you bring water and sun cream in case it is hot. Also be prepared for wet weather and bring waterproof clothing as Bents Park is an open air venue with no shelter. 

In the event of heavy rain or strong winds it may be necessary to cancel the concert for safety reasons.

There are various car parks in the area but please be aware it is a popular event and as such the car parks will be busy. There has been paid parking at Bents Recreation Ground in previous year which is next to Bents Park. 

Tickets from £2 for 66+ years and from £5 for 17-65 years
