Cost: walk is free, lunch is as per menu

Bookable | Deadline: 09/10/2025

Come and join us for a gentle stroll around Acton Park, the walk we will do takes around 45 minutes. It's an easy flat tarmac path all the way round so accessible for all abilities.

Acton Park is about half a mile north of Wrexham City Centre and covers 24 hectares (64 acres).

Green Flag Award accreditation was first given to Acton Park in 2016 and the park has held it each year since then.

The park once formed the grounds of Acton Hall and many of the landscape features remain, with the lake and various notable trees being the most prominent. The park is made up of large areas of open parkland, woodland and the lake, as well as a range of sports and play facilities. There are also a small number of formal planted areas.

We will park and meet in the Cunliffe Arms car park where we will return to for refreshments and a light lunch. Lunches will need to be pre ordered 2 weeks before so please ensure you book by 9th October.
