Out and About - Millennium Walkway

The Millennium Walkway in New Mills is suspended from the side of the gorge, above a point where the river flows over a large weir. Its special for its stunning futuristic "steel spiders web" design, providing breathtaking views as it cantilevers over the previously impassable River Goyt gorge, linking parts of the Midshires Way.

Meeting at New Mills train station as the start of the trail is a few minutes walk away down the side of the station. We can discuss at the socials if this is the best place to meet, and how far we want to walk and if we would like to have refreshments later, where we should go.
