Friendship Walk with Mark - Sudbury

Join us for a walk a leisurely stroll around Nowton Park and beyond!  On this four mile walk we will visit the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds and Hardwick Heath stopping at St Peter's Church, Nowton.  The park and its manor house were built in 1837 and were owned by the Oakes Family.  Now a nursing home, the house was once a boarding school attended by Nigel Havers.  We will cover mostly parkland and paved areas but it could be uneven so please wear appropriate footwear.  It is Friendship month so do please bring along a friend.

There is a cafeteria on site with toilets so we will be stopping for refreshments after the walk. This will be at your own cost. Parking is available at a cost of £3.00 for over 2 hours and £2 all day for Blue Badge Holders.
