Meeting at 11.45am (for a prompt 12 noon tour start time) outside the Pump House pub at the docks, we will head down to the site revealed during excavations in 2001 to see a large portion of the Old Dock rising more than 20 feet from the bed of the Pool – the creek that gave Liverpool it’s name. A modern bridge and walkway give grandstand views. There are 2 flights of stairs to go down / up but there is a seated chairlift, should this be required (please notify Nicola if needed when booking). The tour is 1 hour. Afterwards, if you would like to join us, we will head for lunch at a location to be chosen nearer the day, cost for lunch would be as per your menu choice. Please note no transport is included in this trip.
For Old Dock ticket please register your interest and make payment by 31 March. Ticket allocation will be assigned to those who registered interest first to last as we cannot guarantee a private tour due to sales being open to public, money to be refunded if unsuccessful in ticket allocation. After this date, any request must be accompanied with full payment and confirmation of booking will be subject to securing the extra ticket.
