This summer bank holiday, we’re heading to the stunning Reculver Towers near Herne Bay for a relaxed picnic and day out – and you’re invited!

Why Reculver? With its iconic twin towers standing dramatically on the clifftop, Reculver is a place full of history, natural beauty, and sweeping sea views. It's perfect for soaking up the fresh air, exploring the ruins, and enjoying peaceful walks along the coast. Kids can run around, adults can relax, and everyone will love the stunning backdrop.

There's also a lovely café on site, serving drinks, snacks, and ice cream – ideal if you fancy something extra with your picnic.

What to bring: Your favourite picnic food and drinks, a blanket or camping chair, sun cream and layers (you know what the weather's like!)

It’s a great chance to unwind, catch up with friends old and new, and enjoy one of Kent’s most atmospheric spots.

We’d love to see as many of you there as possible – let us know if you're coming so we can look out for you on the day!
