Out and About - Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury is a market town in Shropshire the birth place of Charles Darwin. There are over 660 listed buildings and a largely undisturbed medieval street plan, along with a beautiful Abbey and magnificent Castle. The market hall was crowned Britain's favourite for the fourth year running. There are boat trips down the river and all only 1.15 hours away by train to visit this lovely town.
