Great War Huts at Brook Farm Camp, is a First World War Museum in the heart of the Suffolk countryside near Bury St Edmunds. We have been given the opportunity to make another visit to the site to learn about The First World War, the history of The Great War Huts project; its original First World War buildings, and explore the new trench system.
On arrival we will be served refreshments. We will then listen to a talk followed by a tour of the huts and trenches. The visit will last between 2 and 2.5 hours. Stout footwear is recommended, especially if the weather has been wet. To keep the cost down, transport has not been arranged for this visit so if you are driving, please can you offer a lift to other members.
