Voices from the Workhouse - Sudbury

This talk by Janette Robinson, is based on the memoirs of a lady who wrote the story of her early life when she was 95 years old.  She mostly grew up in Wickham Market Workhouse.  We will hear about the background of workhouses, and then at how they operated through the eyes of a young girl.  The story continues until her marriage.
