When you’re living with a serious or chronic illness, are an older person in need, or facing a distressing time due to a change in personal or family circumstance – the help of friends goes a really long way.

Just one of many ways in which the Oddfellows can help is through the financial assistance of a Benevolence Grant, which is a benefit of membership from day one.*

The total value of a Benevolence Grant is decided on a case-by-case basis. Approved applications will be paid to the member and there are no requirements to repay it.

Please note, however, that the issue you need help with must not have started prior to joining the Society.

How to apply for a Benevolence Grant

The first step is to speak with your Branch Secretary, who will discuss available support and how to make an application. You can find their contact details by using our Branch Finder.
