Join us for afternoon refreshments in friendly company. Today, Mary Cody-Cowdrey will tell us about her remarkable relative. Colonel Samuel Franklin Cody was a sharpshooter, trick-rider, became famous for his unique manned war-kites and was the first person to fly a plane in the UK. A remarkable man… and an Oddfellow! Mary will show her vast collection of photos, postcards, posters and other ephemera in her telling of Cody's incredible life, including his relationship with Buffalo Bill Cody, of Wild West fame.
