Talk on the Knutsford Workhouse

Come along to hear all about the Knutsford Workhouse, a fascinating talk by local author Jenny Collis.  Did you know it was a home for the destitute paupers, orphans, the elderly, sick and infirm, pregnant women and abandoned children.  Jenny will take us through the centuries and you will hear about how and why folk ended up in the Knutsford workhouse and what life was like on the inside.
