Join us for a trip to the wonderful historical market town of Stockport.  There is lots to see and do. Apart from the usual town centre shops, a few places of interest are the Robinsons Brewery, where there is a museum and if you are lucky, you may see the Shire horses which are often on site.  Another place of interest is Staircase House.  A medieval townhouse which is now a museum, it has excellent reviews and the audio guide is highly recommended.  Last but not least, why not pop into the Stockport Plaza for a bite to eat in their wonderful cafe. The building is a 1930's Art Deco design and the furniture inside relates to that era.  The staff in the cafe dress in traditional white aprons and you will really feel like you have gone back in time.  Hope you will join us, for what promises to be a great day out.

Exact meeting times and stations to be confirmed depending on the train times. Booking is essential. To book, contact the office on 01709 838673. Everyone welcome.
