We probably all know several of the ancient wonders of the world. Do you know how many still exist today and what happened to the others? All will be explained in Ian Hutt's presentation. Ian's second presentation is about The Burke and Wills expedition 1860-61 attempt to cross Australia. Led by Robert O'Hara Burke and William John Wills, the team successfully reached the Gulf of Carpentaria. However, their return was plagued by misfortune, leading to the deaths of Burke and Wills from starvation and thirst, a tragic end to an ambitious journey.
