We’re delighted to be joined by a specialist from Dementia UK, a leading charity that supports people living with dementia and their families. 

This practical and engaging session will help you better understand dementia, challenge common myths, and explore how to provide person-centred support. We’ll cover the different types of dementia, common signs and symptoms, and how dementia can affect communication, behaviour, and daily experiences.

You’ll also gain practical tips and real-life insights to help you communicate effectively, show empathy, and support independence, while learning how small changes can make a big difference to someone’s wellbeing. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions throughout, including a dedicated Q&A session at the end.
