Walk through Alma Woods to Londonthorpe

Meet at Londonthorpe car park.  This is a lovely walk through the Alma Woods to Londonthorpe Village.  The church is delightful and in the grounds are numerous war graves dedicated to the fallen of the machine gun core.  Following that we descend to meadows and then enter the woods behind Belmont Tower, taking in the views , then descend back to Londonthorpe car park.  This walk is around 3.5 to 4 miles.  We can then lunch at Belton House.
