The Carving of an Icon - The History of Mount Rushmore

Join us to welcome back Joe Mendell to the Tunbridge Wells Constitutional Club. Stuck in the middle of the US there is a rather unusual monument to four of the greatest Presidents of the US. But why is it there? Whose idea was it? How was it made? And what was its original purpose? Joe will provide the answers in his presentation. Refreshments will be provided.
