Arts & Crafts, Coffee Mornings, Social | North Gloucestershire District Branch

Sunday 22 September 2024 at 10.00am

The Repair Cafe is an international community of skilled volunteers who look to help you fix your broken items rather than you simply just sending them to landfill. North Gloucestershire District is proud to offer members and the public the opportunity to help save money, the environment and sometimes your beloved belonging that just need a little TLC and maybe a replacement part that will breathe a new lease of life into it. So why not come along with a small/medium item to our monthly meeting to see if we can help.

We cannot predict the waiting time for a repair so please allow time when attending, items we can look to repair are:

Toys
Small household goods
Tool sharpening
Electrical appliances
Electronic equipment
Garden tools (excluding those with petrol engines)
Furniture and other wooden objects

All items must be able to be carried by one person, we cannot assist with bringing large items in, items that cannot be repaired cannot be left with us, we will not dispose of non-repaired items.

There is no charge for repairs (excluding parts if needed but you will be informed before work is done) but donations to help maintain the group is appreciated. Refreshments are available to purchase, discounts on refreshments for Oddfellows members available on the day.

The session is from 10am until 12:30pm, we look forward to welcoming you. Free parking available, spaces are limited.
