Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral, officially known as the Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King and locally nicknamed "Paddy's Wigwam" or "The Mersey Funnel", is the seat of the Archbishop of Liverpool and the mother church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Liverpool in Liverpool, England.
We'll arrive and spend up to 90 minutes looking around the Cathedral (guides are on duty) and for those who want to, visit the crypt. There is an accessible entrance via the Car Park and lift - so no need to use the main stairs. Crypt fully accessible too. Following our visit, we will get back on the coach and be dropped at Albert Dock, where there are plenty of eateries and things to do eg Liverpool Museum/ Maritime Museum/ Tate Gallery etc to spend the afternoon.
Various coach pickups, or meet us there. Times confirmed nearer the date.
