Cost: 5.00
Non-member Cost: 10.00

Bookable | Deadline: 16/01/2026

Join us for a fascinating talk with the world record-holding polar explorer Alex Hibbert – one of only 11 people in history to have skied over 1,000 miles unsupported in polar regions.

Alex will share gripping stories of survival, endurance, and exploration – including his record-breaking 1,374-mile, 113-day Arctic expedition completed without resupply, during which he and teammate George Bullard endured extreme conditions and finished the final leg with almost no food.

Everyone who attends will receive a signed copy of Alex’s book.

Whether you're an adventurer at heart or just curious about life at the ends of the earth, this is an unmissable opportunity to hear from one of the greatest living polar travellers.

All are welcome! Come be inspired.
