Fire - Sudbury

In this talk, Sarah Doig explores some of the more interesting and bizarre fire-related incidents in the county of Suffolk. These include the 17th century town fire which saved a monarch’s life, a celebrated case of spontaneous human combustion in the 1700s and a mysterious disease which almost wiped out a complete family.
