Friendship Month walk in Kensington Gardens

Friendship-Month

Friendship Month | Nationwide event hosted by Pride of Kent Branch

Wednesday 18 September 2024 at 2.00pm

Bookable | Deadline: 11/09/2024

As part of Friendship month join us for a gentle stroll around this Royal Park.

We will meet next to the Albert Memorial (opposite the Royal Albert Hall).   This will be the first of several memorials & statues that we will see on our stroll around Kensington Gardens (which turns into Hyde Park).

After visiting the Peter Pan statue, and the Princess Diana memorial fountain, we will go and see the iconic giant yellow pumpkin by Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama which is part of the Serpentine Gallery's public art series.

Before we head home - a refreshing cuppa at one of the cafes.

Please let Jackie know if you would like to join this walk.

Albert memorial is across the road from the Royal Albert Hall and equidistant between Kensington High Street tube and South Kensington tube (15 min walk).  Buses run from outside High Street Kensington tube to the memorial (5 mins)
