**Online** Operation Pegasus: a Story of Extraordinary Bravery
Talks & Demos, History | Nationwide event hosted by Pride of Kent Branch
Friday 29 August 2025 at 2.00pm
Tony Sheldon has documented the experiences of Dutch civilians during and after the Battle of Arnhem. In particular, the help they were able to give British and Polish troops caught behind enemy lines. The Dutch Resistance combined with British officers to organise Operation Pegasus, the largest home run, or escape from behind enemy lines, of Allied troops in the Second World War. Their story is of extraordinary bravery. Visit www.zoom.us and add Meeting ID 910 7968 6020 and Passcode 1810 or contact paul.fitton@oddfellows.co.uk for a direct link.
