Tuesday 25 May 2027 at 11.00am

Cost: £12

Rachael Unsworth urban geographer takes on another private walking tour exploring The West End of Leeds, the area of Leeds between Wellington Street and Park Square. Approx 2hrs.

To the west of the medieval streets of the small trading town of Leeds, there was open land until the mid-18thcentury. By the end of the 19th century, it was almost completely built up. Much change has happened since then, though elements of Georgian and Victorian Leeds remain.

How can we explain the way this area has developed? What have the buildings been used for over the last 250 years? What’s special about the built heritage? How about the future prospects for this area of Leeds’ west end? Meet outside ###. Pay Rachael on the day.

Please book by 18th May.
