The Avro Heritage Museum preserves the legacy of Alliott Verdon- Roe and his company A.V. Roe and Coe (Avro). Located on the former Woodford Aerodrome near Stockport in Cheshire, the site saw the production of the Lancaster, Vulcan, Nimrod and BAe 146. It is packed with fascinating exhibits and is home to the only example of an all-white Vulcan bomber.  Meeting in the reception area at 11.00am we can have a couple of hours visiting this fantastic museum before heading to the Aviator  pub 5 mins away to have refreshments if you wish.
