Torquay grew from being a collection of rural hamlets to becoming the most affluent town in Britain, home to rich and poor, artist and eccentric. It only took a century! Join renowned local historian and author, Dr Kevin Dixon as he takes us on the resort’s fascinating journey in this illustrated, light-hearted talk.
Price includes £2 deduction from any refreshments you order. Please arrive in time to order refreshments for a prompt 2pm start. I will be there from 1.30pm to issue your £2 token towards any food/drink you decide to purchase. Tickets will sell fast and spaces are limited, so get in touch early to secure your space.
