'Oddie's Hikers' - Quarry Park and Nature Reserve, Dunsville, Doncaster

Walks

Walks, Friendship Month | S Yorks And N Derbys District Branch

Monday 30 September 2024 at 11.00am

A member recommendation!  Just a few miles from the centre of Doncaster, lies Quarry Park.  A former quarry (hence the name), it now belongs to Doncaster City Council, who have turned it into a beautiful park and nature reserve with lots of green spaces, which our four legged friends will love!  There isn't a cafe in the park, but there is a chippy down the road or you can bring a picnic and a flask.  If you are travelling by car, there will be spaces to park at the bottom of St Mary’s Road off the A18 (1st traffic lights as you enter Dunsville from Doncaster), so I suggested we meet at the bottom of that road at 11.00am. If you are travelling by public transport, please give Julie, our Social Events Organiser a call and she will give you information re, bus routes and times. Meet at 11.00am. Everyone welcome. Booking is essential to book, contact the office on 01709 838673.
