Talk on Nottingham street names and Broad Marshes
Talks & Demos | Nationwide event hosted by Nottingham Trent District Branch
Monday 6 October 2025 at 11.00am
Join us for a talk by Chris Weir who has worked for Nottingham Archives for 30 years. He will give a talk and presentation on Nottingham Street names and the Broad Marshes. The venue is Fishergate Point, which is run by our member Barry Gardiner's son and daughter-in-law Ian and Tricia. They officially opened their doors to the public within the last year so everyone can come and enjoy the cafe bar, gig venue, artisan shop and the dozens of creative projects that go down in their music studios and workshop spaces, so it will be an interesting place to visit. Following the talk we have the option to take lunch in the cafe.
