Talk by Barney Howard from The Knutsford Food Bank

Knutsford Food Bank provides about 50 hampers a week, without prejudice to families and individuals in crisis and who live in poverty in the North East Cheshire area (Knutsford, Wilmslow and Handforth).  The isolation felt by people living in poverty is a priority and they aim to introduce them into a caring community that will continue to provide friendship and support. 

To fill the food hampers they rely on the generosity of the local community, and they welcome any non-perishable food donations, personal hygiene items and cleaning products.

We are joined today by Barney Howard, Director of Community Partnerships from Hope Central to chat to us over coffee about the amazing work they do and the help they need to continue. Everyone needs a helping hand at some point.
